B. Kosminski, A. Levy, and J. Harris having
received a majority of all the votes cast
were duly elected trustees. A motion
was then made by Mr. Whitkauski
that the names of the persons indebted
to this congregation be called, which
motion was adopted. The newly
elected secretary was requested to send
all bills, that of parties not residing in
the city for collection. On motion
of B. Kosminski, the trustees
were instructed to see how much
the congregation is able to pay a
competent person to act in the
capacity of Chazzen, Shochet & Teacher
which motion was carried. The
trustees on motion were also
empowered to engage Rev. M.R. Cohen
for one month for a salary not to
exceed seventy five dollars. No
further business appearing the
meeting on motion adjourned.

A special meeting of the board of
officers was held, L. Elkus presiding.
Mr. Kosminski moved that a special
meeting be called for next Sunday the
18 inst, and members be notified to
attend punctually. If not and a
reasonable excuse is not given
their names be stricken from the
roll of members, which was
unanimously carried. On motion of
Mr. A. Levy, the bill of M. Veil was
ordered paid.
