Sacramento, September 11, 1865

A special meeting of the
Board of Officers was held, the
President in the Chair.

The President stated that arrangements
must be made to engage an
Assistant Reader for the Holy days
and whitewash & clean up the
Synagogue.

On motion of B. Kosminski the
President was authorized to
expend fifty dollars for whitewashing
and cleaning the Synagogue.

On motion of B. Kosminski the
President was also authorized
to engage an Assistant Reader
for the Holy days.

Applications for membership were
received from S. Rosenfeld and
A. Davis and the applicants
duly elected members of the Congregation.

On motion the meeting adjourned.
