Sacramento September 2, 1866

A meeting of the Congregation B'nai
Israel was held for the purpose
of selling seats and make arrangements
for the coming holidays.

President L. Elkus in the chair.

The minutes of the Board of Officers
proposing in what manner to dispose
of the seats during the coming holidays
was read and approved.

Mr. Joe Davis kindly volunteered to
sell at auction the choice seats.
Sale took place in the synagogue
resulting as follows.

23 gentlemen's seats sold total amount
of premium fifty-two dollars 52

Choice of ladies seats, 28 sold at
a premium of fifty-nine 50/100 dollars 59.50

No other business
appearing the meeting
adjourned.
