Sacramento, August 31th, 1885

A special meeting was held
at the synagogue at 8 o'clock P.M.
Mr. Elkus, President, presiding.
At roll call Messrs. M. Robertscheck,
A. Elkus, and J. Gattmann were
noted absent.

The President stated this meeting
is called to make rules and
regulations in regard to the
coming holidays, and also to
drawing seats for members
for the coming year. He stated further
a meeting was called of the members
of the congregation August 30th and
there was no quorum present
so it devolved on the officers to
make these arrangements.

On motion the seats for members was drawn
by Messrs. A. Mooser and B. Cohen.
On motion that seats are not transferable.

On motion the President be empowered
to sell seats to nonmembers.

There appearing no further
business,
the meeting adjourned.
