Sacramento, June 26th, 1889

A special meeting of the board
of officers was held at 8 P.M.

Mr. L. Elkus, president, in the chair.

The president stated this meeting
is called for that two young ladies
who has been singing in the choir
since commencement and are going
to be married next Sunday. It would
be no more than right to make
a small present to each of these
ladies. He refers to Miss
Ad Wilson and Miss Albertine Elkus.
On motion, the president and vice
president be authorized to buy
each of the ladies a wedding present
not to exceed $25.00 for each present.
Carried.

There appearing no further business,
the meeting adjourned.
