Sacramento, January 1st, 1882
A regular monthly meeting of the Board of officers was held at this date at Mr. B. Kozminsky's.
The President L. Elkus in the Chair. All officers noted present excepting Messrs. S. Lavenson and G. Haines.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
Resignation of L. Rosenfeld read and accepted.
The President reported to Board that he engaged Prof. Cooper [Note] at a monthly salary of $20.00. Said action was approved by the Board.
It was moved and seconded that Mr. A.L. Friedman be elected a member of congregation with dues of $2.00 per month. Carried.
The Committee on School Rooms reported that they had received the privilege from the Board of Educators to use school house on corner of 7th & G. It was moved and seconded that the Secretary inform the Rev. Dr. J. Bloch of said action. Carried.
