I move that as a
patriotic service and as a
contribution to our government
and as a contribution to the
cause of Judaism--as represented
so nobly by those Jews who are
in the service of the U.S. Army
and Navy that, in conformation with
the request received from the Jewish Welfare Board, Congregation B'nai Israel
offer to the Jewish Welfare Board
beginning Oct. 1st
the services of our rabbi for
a period of 6 months and that
this time may be extended
to 9 months in the discretion of
the president or acting president of our congregation.
