Finance committee asks extension of time until the next meeting.
It has been moved and seconded that the report of Mr. H.A. Binder and Rabbi Fried be received and placed on file.
Mr. L. Salomon moved, seconded by Mr. Simon, that a resolution be adopted that persons desiring to pay an amount less than 2.60 per month and not less than 1.10 per month shall be classed as nonvoting associates, The resolution was lost by President Binder voting No. It was moved and seconded that the President be allowed to change his vote, and the previous resolution, and carried.
The President changed his vote to aye and declared the above resolution carried.
It has been moved by Mr. Davis and seconded by Mr. Nathan that the committee use their discretion about notifying the members about the above resolution.
Mr. Salomon moved that the resignation of Mr. Brown as Vice President be accepted with many regrets and the Secretary notify Mr. Brown to that effect.
Mr. Max Simon was elected Vice President by acclamation.

Sacramento, May 12, 1920
The regular monthly meeting of the trustees was held at Hotel Sacramento. President H.A. Binder presiding. Absentees Albert Elkus, Irvin Heilbron, Henry Haas, Chas. P. Nathan. President H.A. Binder appointed Mr. J. Rubel trustee.

President H.A. Binder sent following telegram to the Family of the late Rabbi Arndt and wife.

Miss Lillian Rothholz sends a letter to resign as organist.

Moved and seconded that the resignation be accepted and the secretary send following lettter accepting the resignation.

Finance committee reported mistake of 6.51 and was accepted. Report of committee of raising the deficit of the synagogue was accepted and a vote of thanks giving the committee. Moved by Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Salomon that a communication be send to the women of Jewish Relief Society for a further loan of 1000.00 to the Temple B'nai Israel. Mr. Binder appointed Mr. Davis to cooperate with the secretary to word the communication to the women of the Jewish Relief Society of obtaining the loan. The following communication was send.

Secretary send the following communication to the Rabbi M. Fried.
Moved by Mr. Salomon the communication from Union of Hebrew Congregations in regard to the pension fund of rabbi's be filed and taken up after our present difficulties are disposed of.

The regular monthly meeting of the trustees was held at Sacramento Hotel. President H.A. Binder presiding. Absentees Gus Marks, Herman Davis.
President H.A. Binder appointed Mr. Henry Haas to take care of the chart for the seats of the congregation for the holidays and the secretary to send postals to all members of the congregation.
Mr. C.P. Nathan was appointed on the music committee.
Moved by Mr. C.P. Nathan seconded by Mr. Haas to send a token to Rabbi and Mrs. Fried for their tenth wedding anniversary. President Binder appointed Mr. C.P. Nathan and Mr. Henry Haas to buy a token and send it to Rabbi and Mrs. Fried.

Sacramento August 3, 1920
Meeting of the Trustees of congregation was called at the Hotel Sacramento. Present at the meting Messrs. H. Davis, H. Haas, H.A. Binder, and Caesar Rothholz.
President Binder reported that Mr. Max Simon, chairman of the House committee, had refused to serve in the matter of repairing the synagogue. President Binder had therefore called for bids for the necessary work.
He reported that he had received six bids, only two which he considered worthy of consideration. Bidders are as follows: Krebs and Co. and Schneider, Chappell & Jones

Upon the assurance of Mr. Binder that Trustees Albert Elkus and Gus Marks had sanctioned him to vote on their behalf and upon further assurance of President Binder that he would give personal supervision to the execution of the work, it was moved and seconded that the bid of Schneider, Chappell and Jones be accepted.
President Binder appointed Mr. Caesar Rothholz to act with him to supervise the work done by Schneider, Chappell and Jones.
No further business appearing the members adjourned until call of the President.

Sacramento September 17, 1920
The reguar monthly meeting of the trustees was held in Hotel Sacramento. President H.A. Binder presiding Absentees Jacob Rubel, Herman Davis, Irvin Heilbron. On motion of Mr. Haas, the reading of meetings June 14th and August 3rd were approved.
On motion of Mr. Henry Haas, seconded by Mr. Leon Salomon, the communication of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations to be taken up at the next meeting.
On motion of Mr. Albert Elkus, the secretary was instructed to notify Mr. Herman Davis to have the bylaws ready at the next regular annual meeting.
Mr. Albert Elkus moved and seconded by Mr. Henry Haas that Mr. C.P. Nathan be appointed chairman of the music committee with full power to act to appoint an organist.
Moved by Mr. Albert Elkus, seconded by Mr. Gus Marks that the building committee given full power to act regarding the heating system of the synagogue.
On motion of Mr. Albert Elkus, seconded by Mr. Gus Marks, that the B.B. Lodge be asked to appoint a committee to cooperate with the cemetery committee of the congregation for the purpose of assisting the cemetery committee of the congregation.
