Trustee Meeting
Sacramento, Sept. 28, 1898
The Board met in the synagogue at 8 P.M.
Mr. Albert Elkus, President, presiding.
Trustee A. Bonheim and School director J. Anchell
absent.
Minutes of the meeting of August 17 read and
approved.
An appeal for aid for the sufferers of Krakow [Note]
was read and the same was ordered to be given
to Rabbi A. Simon to be read from the pulpit
at Friday night's services.
The secretary was instructed to charge for seats
for the following: H. Gosliner, Irving Heilbron,
M. Hirsch one extra seat.
The president stated that he had given seats
at reduced prices to several persons who were not
in a position to pay full price. On motion,
it was ordered that the actions of the president
were approved.
The president was instructed to have the Rabbi
to carry out the instructions from the Board in
relation to the reading of the Hebrew belonging
to the part of each service.
