It was moved and seconded that the Board hold
a special meeting on Wednesday evening, Nov 6/01.
The motion prevailed.
Mr. Moses Lavenson stated that his mother
Mrs. S. Lavenson was about removing from the
city and would like to remain a member of this
congregation by paying $2.50 a month.
On motion it was ordered that the request be
granted.
The following bills were read and ordered paid
Emanu-El advertising 5.00
B. Wilson & Co. Mosquito Bar .80 [Note]
Capital Gas Co. 1.23
Albert Elkus Telephone, Telegram & [?Bell purchase] 3.80
Secretary advertising .40
The following salaries were ordered paid
and warrants drawn on the treasurer
M. Wilson, collector 40.00
M. Mohns, cemetery 15.00
Mrs. Hanley, organist 10.00
Mrs. M. Ross, choir 10.00
Progressive cleaners 6.00
The secretary stated that several members
refused to pay for seats. The matter was
referred to the secretary & treasurer who were
to see these members and explain why seats
are charged to all members.
No further business appearing, the meeting
adjourned
