The Board met in the synagogue at 8 p.m.
Mr. Albert Elkus, president, presiding.
Full Board present.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.

The committee on investments granted further time.
It was moved and seconded that the president and the
treasurer should give options on lots. The motion
prevailed.

The resignations of Miss Louisa & Miss Minnie Meyer
were read and on motion ordered accepted.

Bills of Breuner Co. for 2.35 for brush & pole, for Mr.
Anchell for broom brush 40¢, Capital Gas Co. $1.05
and Locke & Lavinson 3.40 for dusters, brooms, etc.
were ordered paid and warrants drawn on treasurer
for amounts.

The building committee were authorized to have a duplicate
key made for the use of the Sacramento Electricity, Gas & Railway Co.
to take statements of meter.

It was moved and seconded that a present be bought
for Rev. Reynolds & his bride, the price of same
not to exceed $25.00, the motion prevailed and
the president and Mr. Anchell be authorized to purchase
same.

The committee on Rabbis made their reports. Mr.
Weinstock read letters from Mr. D. Lubin &
Simon Lubin in relation to Rev. Thorn &
Goldstein & others which were not very
favorable.
