Sacramento, February 2, 1906

The board of officers of the Congregation B'nai
Israel met in the synagogue at 9 P.M.
Mr. Albert Elkus, president, presiding.
Roll call, the following were noted present:
President Albert Elkus, vice president Louis
Bonheim, trustees H. Weinstock and Saul
Stone, treasurer Emil Steinman, secretary
L. Salomon, school director, A. Bonheim.
Absent: trustee M.S. Lavenson, school director
M.S. Jaffe and H.L. Stich.

The reading of the minutes of previous
meeting were dispensed with.

The following were added to the list of
members: H. Burck 2.50, Louis Susman 2.50,
Ben Hirsch 1.50, Jacob Wilson, H.M. Phillips,
Emil Nathan, Leon Mooser, Jos. Anthony
and Jack Zemansky one dollar each.

Mr. Heilbron reported that he had sold the
grave to Mrs. [?Annie] Weber adjoining the one of Jos.
Wilson in the Jewish cemetery 3½ x 10 ft. for
the sum of 75.00 on which she has paid
in part $27.50 and has turned the amount over
to the treasurer.

Also that he has sold a grave for Phil Loshakoff
for $50.00 which amount has also been turned
over to the treasurer.

Mr. Bonheim stated that the daughter of Mr.
Isador Levison from Rocklin wanted to be
confirmed and she could not be here on
Sundays. Mr. Emil Steinman moved that the
president confer with the rabbi in regards to
the confirmation of Miss Levison. Mr. Bonheim
seconded the motion which was carried.

A communication of Mr. H. Mitau was read
transmitting for filing the report of the collection
and disbursements for the Jewish sufferers in Russia
also a balance of 2.12 in bank.
