Sacramento, October 8th, 1909
The board of officers met in the synagogue at 9 P.M.
Mr. Albert Elkus, President, presiding.
Roll call, M.S. Jaffe school director absent.
The board decided to hold the annual meeting
on Wednesday evening the 27th inst. at 8 o'clock in
the synagogue. The secretary was authorized
to send out notices to members to that effect.
The board fixed the prices for seats for next
year, subject to the approval of the members
at the annual meeting. Front rows $3.00
and the balance 2.00 except the last row, 2.50. For members
and children over 15 years old to pay for seats 2.00.
Nonmembers 5.00 except the last row 2.50.
No other business appearing the meeting
adjourned.

The following were noted present. A. Elkus,
S.J. Lubin, H.L. Stich, B. Frommer,
Isidor Cohen and L. Salomon.
Absent Emil Steinman, A. Bonnheim, Max Simon
and M.S. Jaffe.
The object of the meeting is as regards to the
seats for the holidays. At a meeting of the
board held on October 8, 1909, the prices were
fixed subject to the approval of the members
of the congregation at their annual meeting
[which?] not meeting having taken place for the
want of a quorum. The president suggested
action be taken in the matter which was by
unanimous vote carried the process to be followed
that no seat be sold to members for not less
than 1.50, the 4 last rows and 2.50 for the
balance, and for nonmembers
