Mr. L. Heilbron stated that the filling up in the cemetery has been completed at a cost of $ 25.00. On motion it was ordered to draw a warrant on the Treasurer for that amount to be taken out from special cemetery funds. Mr. Heilbron moved that the balance of the cemetery fund in the Treasury be reverted to the general fund. The motion prevailed. The Secretary was instructed to communicate with Mr. S. Gerson, stating that his resignation could not be accepted unless he gives a note payable at any time as he sees fit or making it in monthly installments, otherwise he will be suspended for nonpayment of dues. The Secretary was also instructed to make out the bills for $50.00 each for Mr. Dennery and S.S. Nathan for the privilege of reserving burial plots in cemetery, also to notify Mrs. Bories to pay the balance of $50.00 for the plot. The Secretary was instructed to write a letter of apology to Mr. S. Marks for the action of the collector, which the Board regrets very much, and he is welcome when ever he can find it convenient to attend services at the synagogue.
