Regular meeting of Trustees Sacramento, October 25, 1899 The Board of Officers met in the synagogue at 8 P.M. Mr. Albert Elkus, President presiding. Roll call of Officers: Mr. J. Anchell, school director noted absent. Minutes read of the preceeding meeting and approved. The Building committe reported progress also a guarantee signed by Mr. J. Thompson that he will agree to repair the roof so that it will not leak, paint the gutters, cement the walls where needed at the cost of $10.00. On motion it was ordered that the same be approved. Mr. H. Weinstock reported the Mr. Mitau would likely occupy the pulpit on next Friday, Mr. Wise on the following Friday night, and Rev. Voorsanger sometime in the month of December. The Board decided to pay the expenses of the above named gentlemen whenever they would come to lecture. On motion it was order that a vote of thanks be tendered to Dr. Van Norton in appreciation of the services rendered on Friday evening October 13th. L. Salomon was excused from the committee on membership. Mr. Theiben was requested to wait on Mr. Weinrich to ascertain if he wanted to pay his dues to the congregation and remain a member.
