Fri Apr 1st Another awful windy
day but it cleared off and is quite
cold to night. Lew and Kib worked at
repairing the stack corn this
forenoon and Lew and I went to
town this afternoon and fixed up
some papers to send to Mr Lariner
and done some other jobs of various
kinds.

Sat April 2 A little better
to day but not perfect Colorado
weather yet. The boys worked at
hauling hay and hauled a load of
stems up to windy hill and
fetched back a jag of bedding.
I worked at the window screens
and the doors too.
I will have to paint them
some yet.
