Fri July 11 Nice day.
Lew and Bert worked at haying.
Lew raked in the morning and
Bert mowed the two little
pieces near the barn then they
hauled 3 loads from the hill
piece. I put in the day a
visiting with Anda Dyers
folks.

Sat July 12 Very nice but
very hot. I irrigated some of
the orchard helped a little
at haying. Lew and Bert worked
at haying and got through the
firs [first] cutting and the two
little pieces by the barn. The
second and now some of the
folks have gone with hooks
and lines to try to catch some
fish.
