Commenced irrigating on J K
Howards place to day.

Tues July 29 Another just
such a good for nothing day.
Rained just enough to make it
nasty but not enough to do any
good. Lew got the first piece
finished and went a few
times around the other. I
irrigated with a fine head
of water on the north end
of the side hill piece and
set up wheat for a business.

Wed July 30 Another of them fool
days. Rained a little. Lew finished
cutting the wheat and took the binder
to Harry Dixon. I irrigated and
set up wheat and Lew helped
set up wheat in the afternoon.
Dave went to Jon Dragers
in the afternoon to see how
he is. We heard that he had
the typhoid fever.
