Mon Nov 12 A terrible windy day and just
near night it got to be pretty cold. Frank and I worked
at the road over on the west side of the place. We
got the bridge in all right [alright] and got a lot of the
turnpiking done so I think we will finish
it tomorrow. John started to school to day [today].
He thinks he will like the school but he
didnt say whether he should like the school-
mam [school-marm] or not.

Tues Nov 13 Clear still and warm.
Frank finished the turnpiking at noon and
this afternoon went over to the Curtis place to bring
back a load of their goods. Johny went to school and
has gone now to the curtis place and will fetch back
another load of household goods. I finished
covering the raspberry briars and then got the
water running on to the whheat [weat] stubble piece
and got things fixed for filling the cistern.

Wed Nov 14 Quite fine to
day [today]. Frank took 2 loads of household goods down
to the Evans place hauled one wagon behind the
other with Bonny and Lady. I filled the cistern
and done quite a bit of irrigating. Johny went to
school.

Thurs Nov 15 Quite breezy until
about 2 O clock then it turned cold and blowed
awfully until now but it dont act quite as bad
as it did. Franks folks moved to the Evans
place to day [today]. I finished shucking the sweet
corn and made a start at the other corn
and still keep the water a going on the
wheat stubble.
