Mon Nov 19 Nice to day [today] but pretty cold in the
morning. John went to school and I shucked corn
for a main business.

Tues Nov 20 Mostly clear with plenty
of quite chilly wind. I fixed the table by putting
about 10 inches of a pine board in the top of it.
Johny went to school.

Wed Nov 20 Mostly clear with quite
a lot of wind. I finished the wheat stubble piece
and begun to irrigate the barley stubble piece and the
one north of the house and shucked corn a little
spell too. Johny went to school.

Thurs Nov 21 Clear but pretty raw.
I shut off the water this morning for I dont
think that it is best to irrigate alfalfa when it is
so cold. I shucked corn the rest of the day until
it got too cold then I put some more dirt on the
potato holes. John went to school.

Fri Nov 22 Mostly clear and pretty good.
I husked corn and John went to scool [school].

Sat Nov 23 Pretty and very warm in
the middle of the day. We went to town and took
10 sks [sacks?] wheat $7.59 and 10 sks [sacks?] of barley $7.48 and 10 sks [sacks?] of oats $7.55
making 22 and 62 cts [$22.62] for the load and that was about all
we done.

Sun Nov 24 Nice. Mr Howard and
Mr Buffom were here to day [today] and measured the hay.
We made about 80 tons of the hay.
