Wed Dec 12 Clear still and quite nice and warm in
the middle of the day but pretty sharp at both ends.
I put in the day at the buggy and the fore wheels of
the old wagon. I have them ready to set and the
buggy is all ready to run. Lews folks have moved into
the house with us to day [today] awhile pending their
getting another place to move to for Anderson backed
square out of his bargain with them.
John went to school.

Thurs Dec 13 Clear still and nice. We set the
front tyres [tires] on the old wagon and Lew and Dan went over to
Charleys this afternoon to haul in some cornfodder
and has not got back yet. I worked at cleaning and
coal oiling the hen houses that are up here and
done some other tinkering.
Mother and Mary went to town and
done some trading. Johny went to school.

Friday Dec 14 Clear still and nice
again and a little warmer to day [today]. We filled up the
wagon so as to bring home a big load of coal.
He and Mary started about 2 O clock and they will
stay to night [tonight] at Franks and in the morning
Frank will go on with Lew to the coal bank and
Mary will stay with the other Mary. I fixed up
some troughs to water chickens in and one to
feed the pigs grain in. Johny went to school.

Sat Dec 15 Some wind and a little colder to day [today].
Johny and I with Arthurs help covered the raspberries
west of the ice house and the ballance [balance] of the day
we devoted to whitewashing and repairing
the hen houses.
