I herewith inclose you a description of R N William Glover who murdered my brother Lawson Wooldridge at Sun Flower Landing Coahoma Co Miss. of^on^ the 21st day January 1879, and who made their escape, and are still at large.
I hope you will offer as large a reward for their arrest as you will be justifiable in doing. If you have not heard the partic-ulars, I refer you to Col Ed Richardson of your city, Judge Reeves of Friars Point, and the citizens of Coahoma Co—in the vicinity of sun Flower Landg—Hoping you will give this your immediate attention, and will be pleased to hear from you.

R N Glover about 25 or 28 years of age, about 5 feet 9 or ten inches high eyes light, grey, hair dark, slightly curled, mustache lighter color than hair, complexion dark, (sun burnt,) appearance, a scar on one of his cheeks, (perhaps the right one) a little stoop shouldered, and inclined to carry the left shoulder the lowest, rather slow spoken, large nose inclined to be roman shape, weighs about 160#.
William Glover about 20 years old, blue eyes, dark hair, face full and round, beardless except a thin mustache about 5 feet 6 inches high very illiterate, cant sighn his name, weighs about 140#.
