Henry Musgrove served as a state auditor and secretary of state of Mississippi during the Reconstruction era.

Born around 1829 in Ohio, he moved to Indiana as a young man. After the Civil War, Musgrove moved to Mississippi and became active in Republican party politics. He accepted an appointment as secretary of state in 1869, and served in that role for only four months before accepting the position of state auditor—an elected position for monitoring state funds—which he held until 1874. In 1879, Musgrove traveled to Chicago, Illinois, for treatment of a serious illness. He died there on August 1, 1879, and is buried in Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
