Established in the 1860s, J. D. Ryan & Company was a publishing firm in Columbus, Mississippi. Owned in part by John D. Ryan, the company published the Columbus Daily Republic during the Civil War and provided printing services for the U.S. government, including publishing materials for the U.S. Army immediately after the war.
