Description

Commonly known as the New Albany Grays, Company K of the 21st Regiment, Mississippi Infantry (Confederate) was organized on May 16, 1861 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi under the command of Capt. Robert W. Flournoy and served in the Eastern Theater. It was later commanded by Capts. Nicholas Blackwell and John W. Renfroe.
