Dear Sir

In persuance of orders from His Excelly, Jno. J. Pettus Gov. & c I had impressed June 2, & 3, one horse from S. W. Boren & valued at $300~ and one horse from Wiley McDonald valued at $400~ for the use Dec. 1, 63 & both for the use of 2nd Miss State Cavalry, for which orders have been given in Compliance with Statute of Impressment
