Sir,
By way of amending our proposal to furnish Cotton and Wool Cards, and Army Stores to the State of Mississippi, we will increase the amount of Army Stores to Five Hundred Thousand dollars, the conditions being the same as in our first bid.
If it is desired by Your excellency that the Contract should be divided, we will take one Half upon Some conditions.
