I was a member of the Legislator of the last Session We passed abill to procure Cotton and woolen Cards

Now I can procure cards & deliver them in this State at three dollars per pair if you will give me leave to run the blockade I would like to have the prevalige to take out two thousand bales, I would give yon the plan I have made and will do So if you will concur wit[page torn] me. if so write me and I will come up immediately and give you my plan.

I am poor and would lik[page torn] to do something for my Self and also for the State.

S. J. Morehead proposed my name for Medical purveyor. Any thing I can do I am willing to doit for my Country &c
