Pulse small, frequent, or ir-
regular, often no pulse at all
to be felt - all may be suffered
to extreme prostration of the vi-
tal functions, -Do not often die
in the first cold stage - mouth
dry, brown fur - soreness of
the throat occasionally - many
instances an eruption, usually
on the 2nd day not always- some
eruption on the palate - fluid
not so dangerous as green or
purple- these spots oc-
casioned by a rupture of the cu-
taneous vessels- often large
patches on the skin - Cuticle
separates, is a fluid under it
probably serum- Disease some-
times proves fatal in a few hours
others survival weeks- Brain per-
haps suffers most, serum and
pus or a gelatinous substance
in the cavities - mucous
membrane spotted with the
skin, or Erysipellatous inflam-
mation, resemble appearences
in other malignant features
- Great object to equalise
excitement in cold stage
use mild cordials, essential
oils, as peppermint, camphor
