For Ophthalmia. -

Rx. White of one egg & alum
a small tea spoonful, unite
them well together, tie in a
thin cloth & apply to the eye
over Night, --- likewise any
kind of [???], as the white
of egg, flex and tie, &c. drop
into the eye is better then
powerful estringents.
Then in likewise [???]
of the eyes, which consists
in an increased sensibility
to the ray of light, with in
flammation. the following
remidies I sometimes [successful??]!
