The whole problem of finance, the
increase of the permanent fund, and
its investment in some measure &
insure its most perfect safety,
was committed to the Treasurer &
Frederic Chase.

Voted to accept the Donation
of Dr. A. H. Crosby, of $100. One Hundred
Dollars, the income to be used in caring
for the Crosby lot so far as is necessary
any of the income not used in caring
for the lot to be added to the funds of the
Cemetery Association.

Voted that Jason Dudley be
requested to put up a fence across
the Cemetery lane, at Main St. by
Dr. Sandborn's, to remain through Com-
mencement week to prevent people
from hitching horses in the lane or Cem-
etery. Consulting with abutters before
doing it said fence to be one that
can be put up yearly.

The annual meeting of the Dartmouth
Cemetery Association
was held this day in
the Office of Frederic Chase Esq. The pres-
ident and vice president and secretary
not being present the meeting was called
to order by the treasurer E. R. Ruggles.

H. E. Parker was elected temporary president
and F. A. Sherman temporary secretary.
The report of the last annual meeting
was read aloud and was followed by reports from
the treasurer and superintendent both of
which were accepted.

The following officers were chosen for
the ensuing year.
