Yesterday while Anderson was there one of the
Seattle Reporters had an interview with the boys for the
purpose of a write up in this mornings paper so Anderson
arranged to have two copies sent here so that one could be
forwarded to you to keep you in touch with things.

Everything is in fine shape and they expect to
sail today at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

The Canadian Club entertained Amundsen yester-
day and enclosed is a clipping from the "World". During
Amundens talk he said that he was taking provisions for
seven years and that it was absolutely impossible to find
food north of the 84th par. he instanced Nansen on the
Fram who only found on a half starving bear north of the
84th and this bears stomach contained only an old news-
paper. Write me about this please sometime like a good
fellow.

Conditions seem to be getting better and Im
looking forward to our being able soon to get some further
funds for the larger operations of the Exploration Co.
next year. Please keep me posted as to your movements and
plans for the trip to England.

My wife and Mr Anderson join me in kindest re-
gards.

Yours very sincerely,
A. J. Taylor
