Dear Mr. Heidman,

It was kind of you to write to me under date
of July 7th in regard to the Wrangel Island matter. It
looks as though there were nothing to do but to wait
patiently until the Council is able to give this busi-
ness attention.

I am not sure what we will arrange in regard
to sending a party to relieve the one at present on
Wrangel Island, but if you will continue to keep me
posted as to the progress of affairs at your end, I
will keep you fully advised as to what is being done
here.
