My dear Stefansson:-

Present indications are that I shall reach New
York about the end of the week. I may be delayed however until
Monday or Tuesday. Will wire you just as soon as I know definite-
ly.

I wonder if you would be kind enough to endeavor
to make a reservation for me at the Canadian Club, as I would like
to stay there unless you can suggest some better arrangement.

Your wire to me addressed to Vancouver was relayed
here and I hope that the next few days may bring us some good
word from Nome.
