Late Saturday Evening.

Dear Mrs Wilcox:

I have just received the following teelgram from
Mr Noice:

Signed charter today only suitable vessel. Terms one
thousand dollars cash august first fro twelve days. All days
thereafter eighty three dollars per day for thirty one days. All
days over thirty on e flat rate fifty six dollars per day. If
Frozen in must buy vessel for seventhousand five hundred. Must
have one years food and ammunition supply for crew and people
on wrangel otherwise crew refuse to go. Cost outfit approximately
twentyfive hundred dollars subject to being returned ten percent
discount. Ten thousand dollars credit must be depositied miners
and mercahnts bank
august first.

I have made no reply and will not do so until hearing
from you further.
