Dear Mr. Taylor:-

In response to your request for instructions
for Noice, I would be greatly obliged if you would send at
once the following message to Noice:

"Agreement for sale your story provides for
minimum two thousand words to be filed before
you sail from Nome. STOP Newspapers would
appreciate dispatch two or three hundred words
each day up till date of sailing detailing
plans, preparations, difficulties to he over-
come and interesting incidents and developments
with at least one thousand words on date of
sailing surveying expedition in broad aspects,
with speculation as to probable success, what
has happened at Wrangel and special departing
message STOP Names and descriptions of each
member crew essential STOP Desire also fresh
pictures yourself, captain, crew, ship etcetra,
mailed before sailing STOP From this date no
information is to be supplied newspapers or
correspondents and all material is for exclusive
use of Toronto Star and associated members North
American Newspaper Alliance
all dispatches and
articles to be signed by you. STOP Address
dispatches and pictures to North American News-
paper Alliance
, World Building, New York STOP
Please confirm these arrangements and advise
as to possibilities getting messages back after
leaving Nome.”

I have asked Mr. Pickering if he has any further instructions.

It would be desirable if Pickering and Noice
could come into direct communication though that may not be
possible now.
