Dear Mr. Knight:

Your letter of November 2nd came during Mr. Stefansson's absence, and I have opened it in case it contained something about which I would need to wire him.

I am so sorry that I failed to send you a copy of your son's letter to Mr. Stefansson. I am now enclosing a typewritten copy and a photostat copy of the letter, and I hope you will pardon the delay.

Mr. Stefansson will be home in a day or two and will see your letter at that time.
