[picture of Ada Blackjack]

SEATTLE, . - Ada Blackjack, the Eskimo woman who was the sole survivor of the Canadian expedition to Wrangell Island in the Arctic Ocean, led by Allan R. Crawford of Toronto in 1921, has arrived here from Nome, Alaska. She is believed to have left for the East to join Captain Harold Noice, leader of the relief party that took her from the island last August, Lorne Knight having died on the island in June, and Crawford and the remainder of the party, F.W. Maurer and Milton Gall, having been lost over the ice in the winter.
