JOIN ARCTIC LEADER

SEATTLE, . - Ada Blackjack,
the Eskimo woman who was the
sole survivor of the Canadian ex-
pedition to Wrangell Island in the
Arctic Ocean, led by Allan R. Craw-
ford
of Toronto in 1921, has arrived
here from Nome, Alaska. She is be-
lieved to have left for the East to
join Captain Harold Noice, leader
of the relief party that took her from
the island last August, Lorne Knight
having died on the island in June,
and Crawford and the remainder of
the party, F.W. Maurer and Milton
Gall
, having been lost over the ice
in the winter.
