Mr .V .Stefansson
New York City, N.Y.
3755 Broadway;

Dear Mr.Stefansson.;

McMinnville Lodge No.1283 of the B.P.O.Elks of this
city, of which Lorne was a mamber,have asked me if I could
get for them a photographic copy of the page of his diary
wherein he has drawn the emblems of the A.F. & A.M. and of
the Elks and others, for framing for their club rooms.

If you could get this for me,in a somewhat enlarged size
and a good plain print and, then, while you are at it, if
you will get two of them, I shall be glad to pay the price
and I will present them to the two lodges.

I mailed you, yesterday, an enlarged print of the
photo of the four boys and Ada and the cat on the Island
and of Ada alone and hope that you received them o.k.
I also had a copy of the three boys which was taken in
Seattle, before they left, made and sent to you.

I have, also had copies of the four boys and Ada and
of Ada sent to the Galles, Crawfords and Mrs.Maurer.

All McMinnville is now talknig of the article in the
Literary Digest just out and there is general indignation
expressed toward Noice for the manner in which he treats
Lorne because no man ever made as good as Lorne did here
aa as Chief of Police and Speed cop and everybody recognized
him as a superior sort of person when it came to something
to do.

Yours very truly:

JIKnight
