Dear Mrs. Wilcox-

I have just received through your
courtesy a copy of Mr. Knight's letter of February
21st addressed to Mr. Stefansson, together with a very
strong article that Mr. Knight proposes publishing in
regard to Noice and Wrangel Island.

Will you please let me know where
Mr. Stefansson can be reached at different times during
the next two weeks and when he is likely to be in New
York again.

I would also be glad if you would tell
me whether any newspaper has published Mr. Knight's article.
A friend of the Crawford's telephoned me a day or two
ago to say that they had read in some western paper that
Mr. Stefansson had sent Ada Blackjack to California on a
holiday. Is there any truth in this?

I may be down in New York next week. If
so am coming up to see you to thank you for your kindness
in keeping me so closely in touch with this Wrangel Island
matter.
