When Noice gave us his retraction and confession,
I had to remodel the book to make it fit, for it was now unnecessary
to prove the things which he admitted. This has caused so much delay
that the book will not be out until in January or February.

About Milton's financial arrangements with the Company,
I shall get Mr. Taylor to write you when he comes home from England,
which will be in a few weeks. Our treasury is still empty. Mr. Noice
piled up so many bills, amounting to about $17,000, that we have not been
able to pay them. Legally they are the first thing we have to pay.
There are several thousand dollars outstanding yet for groceries, etc.
My plan is to shoulder personally all obligations and in cases where
I cannot pay the debt immediately, I shall pay interest on the amount
at six per cent.

Mrs. Harry Galle,
New Braunfels,
Texas.
