Mr. V. Stefansson
New York City, N.Y.

Dear Mr. Stefansson ;

Your good letter of the 22,nd inst. is at hand and it
has been carefully noted.

You say that you are writing the Secretary of your Company
asking if he will make transfer of Lorne's money as it comes
due, until you shall have been reimbursed to the tune ot $190.
and we hasten to say that, only $150.00 of this is chargable
against Lorne and the other $40.00 is for the board of Galle.

I am simply writing that you may not get these two matters
confused for, I presume the board should be charged to Milton
Galle
.

We have had a very pleasant exchange of Christmas greetings
with the Galle Family of Texas and there seems to have grown
a very binding, at least, industrous friendship between Miss
Jones
and Mrs. Maurer for they seem to be pretty busy writing
back and forth.

A great many of Lorne's friends are writing the current
happenings for him and they will send their productions
when we send ours. Of course, the current happenings in a
town like this are pretty prosey but, it may be interesting
for him to have it from the different angles and it will
surely be pleasant for him to get words of remembrance from
those with whom he was on friendly terms "here below".

Trusting you are well and enjoying your winter, and proud to
to announce that we are all well as usual, I beg to remain,

Yours very respectfully;

J I Knight

Presume you have seen as much about Noice as we and yet, if
we shall see anything that we think will be of special interest
to you, will send it along.
