V.S. 11

Regarding Lorne's story, I am not so much concerned as to the
other copies of the Manuscript for, I have one complete copy
here but, those sixteen pictures that I sent to Baron DeGran-
court
, seem to have mysteriously disappeared from the face of the
earth and I should wonderfully love to have them.

From the reading of your announcement of the Taking over of the
Wrangle Island which appeared in the press under date Mar.19,
it would appear that you are not planning to enter the Arctic
this year. Will an expedition join the boys, or can you tell ?

Our many inquiries and surmises and congectures may seem to
you as foolish and uncalled for and may annoy you but, we are a
lot of humans in this part of the world and w e become anxious to
know. What was this the sage is quoted as saying?

"He who merely is, may be a dull, insensate hine.
He who knows, is, in himself, devine ."

So, you will pardon us for wanting to be " divine ".

We shall be glad to hear from you at any time when you have the
time and inclination to write a line.

Yours very respectfully;

J I Knight
