you promptly, and I hope he has done this.

The Crawfords are anxious to read Knight's
diary, and Knight has written and asked if he might have
a copy of it. In both cases I have told them that the
matter had been referred to you, and that we would cer-
tainly send Mr. Knight a copy of the diary and I would
endeavor to arrange an opportunity for the Crawfords to
read it.

I have not seen Mr. Bone in regard to the Times
Article, for the reason that I neglected to get a copy of
this from Mr. Brewer, and am writing to him at Dayton for
it now.

I managed to get a first-class cold during my
travelling, so I will ask you to excuse more at this time,
except that I want to tell you how very much I appreciate
meeting Mr. Brewer, and how nicely the Wrights treated me
at Dayton. I was out there for the afternoon and had
dinner, and they all came down to see me off at the Station.
