". . . . . . of Maurer's traps .... the woman is either too damned
lazy or stubborn to go to them although we are having good weather and
lots of daylight . . . . . . . when (?) I ask her (?) why she won't
go. She has a half dozen or so, set within a few hundred yards of the
house and in these she . . . . got the last few foxes. I am sure foxes
are plentiful and if I could only get out to the traps I am sure I
could catch . . ."
