V. Stefansson, Esq.,
New Court, Middle Temple,
London, N. C. 4.

Dear Stefansson:-

There is not very much to report since I last wrote,
except that I have just returned from New York and had a talk there
with LeBourdais and with Pickering of the North American Newspaper
Alliance
, following which I wired Roy Brown as per copy attached, and
he kindly arranged to go down to Seattle as I asked, and yesterday
afternoon wired me as follows:

"Crawford left nothing. Knights diary
and Adas story being kept intact by Noice
who will wire you direct and he is going
Toronto in few days."

We have heard nothing yet from Noice. No doubt he will be in Toronto
within the next week or ten days and give us a full story.

In the meantime press interest in Wrangel has sub-
sided, and may or may not be revived as a result of the story that
Knight's diary and Ada Blackjack may tell.
