We appreciate very much your taking the time to dictate a letter to us.

We fully realize the conditions in the North and are not worrying in the least about Fred - in fact we feel that he is old enough to look out for himself.

As to his wife accompanying you on

[your] next trip, we do [not] expect anything of that kind and we feel that Fred is not expecting it either.

If it is possible we will hear you in Cleveland.
