Today I am sending under separate cover manuscript of Fred's lecture about Whaling. it is the only copy we have. Kindly return it when you are through with it. If you want to make a copy of it do so. I don't think it has ever been published. I am anxious to know what Delphine had to say about publishing Fred's letter. I received a Christmas card from her but she has not written to me about the letter.

To-day is Fred's Birthday, he would have been 32 years old. His mother feels bad to-day.
