Enclosed please find copy of Trial Balance for November, also Statement of Operations to the 30th of November.
There are only a few changes from last month’s statement, which is shown in the Operating Statement. The expenses for November amount to $499.23. The amount of $75.23 really covered October and November business, such as telegrams, etc., but this was not paid until November.
The item of Stationery and Office Supplies - $74.20 - is for the new letterheads and envelopes, a box of which was forwarded to you.
The item of Salary Account, $300.00, covers the following

I did not transfer to Nome this month Ada Blackjack’s salary as it is very costly, there being no mail to Nome, and it has to be telegraphed. I will therefore hold it for a month or two, and then transfer , unless you know of any reason why it should be telegraphed each month.
